ENLIVEN

Hierarchical metal-organic framework@covalent organic framework (MOF@COF) on carbon nanofibers for electrocatalytic CO2 conversion

project n°101107269

Fellow: Dr Seyyed Abbas Noorian Najafabadi

The ENLIVEN project proposes using electrochemistry to convert CO2 into fuels or chemical commodities to meet the sustainable targets of a “circular carbon economy”, which is a primary objective of the Horizon EU Green Charter. This project will be conducted through an international collaboration between Dr S. A. N. Najafabadi (SANN, fellow), Prof. S. Agnoli (SA, supervisor) at the University of Padova (UNIPD) and Prof. S. S. Keller (SSK) at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU, Secondment).

The ENLIVEN project aims to valorise CO2 via electrocatalytic CO2 reduction (ECR) reaction by producing a new family of robust, conductive multi-composite thin films of copper-based metal-organic framework@covalent-organic framework (Cu-MOFs@COFs) supported on carbon nanofibres (CNFs).
